EcoEngage

EcoEngage.NZ is now merged with EcoNet.NZ - please follow us there.

Welcome! EcoEngage was set up as a collaborative volunteer group to support conservation software such as EcoNet.nz, EcoTrack.nz, iNaturalist and other tools that it interfaces with.

We have now merged with EcoNet.NZ to provide better, more integrated systems for conservation groups. Future updates will be reported on the EcoNet site www.econet.nz

We gratefully acknowledge the support of Auckland Council's RENH grant in supporting our work.

EcoTrack support

Help bush restoration groups to adopt better processes and IT tools

Many individual and groups are struggling to find simple ways to plan their work, share it with other volunteers and plan and report activities and results to Councils. Help them learn how to use EcoTrack and other tools that integrate with EcoTrack.

EcoTrack design and development

Help build a tool to support community conservation groups

Most conservation groups keep their contacts in one spreadsheet, their predator control in another app, their working bees in another spreadsheet and the other data lives in emails.  Help build an integrated set of IT tools that make conservation volunteers and groups more efficient and effective.

Data integration and reporting

A Comprehensive and Coordinated Approach

EcoEngage works with other groups such as EcoNet (an independent trust being set up to promote data standards) and EcoTrack (an integrated conservation tool).  Help build an ecosphere of tools that will integrate with iNaturalist, CatchIT, and other systems.
